High sensitivity = bad
I don't get this, why does everyone consider having high sensitivity bad? I find it 50 times easier to vertically track heads with high sensitivity than with low one, not to mention I can react in a milisecond if a person hits me from behind but fails to kill me instantly. Can someone explain the high sensitivity = forever in silver thing please, because I don't get it or it simply does not apply for me?

Because high sensitivity means that it's harder to precision aim, especially at long range, but you can compensate for low sensitivity by moving your hand more.

It is an opinion thing. Some people like High sens. Some like low sens.

I've never had problems hitting long shots even with 2.1k dpi and 4,9 sens, but then again thats just me.

I know it's an opinion thing, but A LOT of people say it's bad and they call those players bad, I'm just really curious why the hate towards those players.

play with whatever you are comfortable with

i have a track pad thats like almost half a meter wide, with that said i can only 180 going from one side to the other, but with this i can move the mouse a single pixel on the screen at a time, can you do that? if you can then keep using your sensitivity, but as you get higher up it only gets harder and accuracy and precision are a must, if you do decide to switch to a lower sensitivity then do tons of aim maps practise etc because it takes a while to get used to it, don't switch between 2 different dpi's ingame

I've been using such high sensitivity since the quake 3 arena days and yes I can easly do it, but then again I'm not using a mousepad.

Because at higher level play the other players won't be standing still, walking, or crouching most of the time. When someone on the other team wide peeks or in any case where you have to flick, having a higher sens will make it more inaccurate. Not to mention spraying is a lot better/more precise with a lower sens than a higher one.

If your sensitivity is too high, it can cause you to skip pixels while moving the mouse. Naturally, that is a very, very, very, bad thing, especially if that pixel was the difference between getting a headshot and dying.

Okay that makes sense, I've personaly never had trouble with moving enemies, but I still don't understand why would some call those players bad, I mean is DMG now considered bad or what?
which is why 99% of pros use lowdpi/low sens

You do know that people will call others bad for anything to help themselves feel better?

it is simply more flexible to have a low sensitivity and a large mousepad because you can be more precise without losing the ability to sweep your crosshair 60-180 degrees.

There just isnt much reason to learn the game on a high sensitivity compared to a low one, but there are high sensitivty pro plays. Theres only like two over 4 Sens 400 dpi though.

Basically, it is easier to improve during your first 2k hrs with the lower sensitivitiys, and by then people are just used to it so they keep it there.

but , honestly play with whatever you're comfortable with and ♥♥♥♥ the haters. I don't use a particularly low OR high sens. Im using 1200 dpi with 3 sens....kinda weird but it works for me. same goes for you, just use whatever works for you :)

I'm not talking about proffesional players, I just wonder why would one be automatically taken as a bad player due to high sensitivity.
just because you're going against the norm they see you as bad. who gives a ♥♥♥♥ tho, as long as u H$
