I made a CS:GO Companion app for iOS

Hi everyone,

I've been working on a CS:GO companion app for iOS and it's finally in the AppStore.

CS:GO Companion is an ingame tool meant to help you improve your gameplay. Version 1 features include:

• Bomb-timer with audible and visual cues
  
• Weapon spray patterns and info
  
• Map call-outs and travel times

If the app is somewhat successful for iOS, I plan to port it to Android.

I really want to try this but it's a shame that it's not a free app with just in app purchases becase then i think it would be a big hit to the community and more people will be trying it out

Also isn't it officially forbidden to charge cash for copyrighted content?

Looking at the screenshots of the app the spray patterns look like the same image as the ones uploaded to imgur

I bet you out a lot of work into it but you can get all this information on the wiki. Maybe make it free with in-app purchases.

Not all phones are 1000$ lol
Most are quite cheap, only Apple likes to overcharge.

Zorro I would happily download this for free just because it is simple and compacted but I would happily pay a in app purchase for something like extra or more advanced information

If you want CSGO resources compiled into a well-designed app, then maybe CSGO Companion is for you. I've spent time developing this app for these people in mind. I wanted something designed for viewing on mobile devices, so I didn't need to minimize CSGO to look things up or look at web pages on my phone that don't have a responsive design. So I made the app.

So far, any material I've used in this app, I have personally asked the author for permission to use it beforehand - even if it's already creative commons.

Anyway, I appreciate the suggestion of making it free with an IAP. Maybe I'll try that sometime soon.
