SALE FOR NAME TAGS
I honestly dont know why this has never been done, at least I have not seen it.
I would love just one day for there to be a sale on name tags like 50% off.. id get a bunch for my guns.. THINK ABOUT IT STEAM.. YOU'D GET A LOT OF PEOPLE BUYING THEM.

I just cant see spending 2 bucks a pop for every one.. but if it was 1 buck.. i easily would buy 5 or more.

Community agree ?

no, u get knives out of cases and they are sold by people on the market. nametags are sold ingame like musickits and some of them already are on sale, so
why not?
Name tags etc are also sold on the market...

No, it would just crash the market. Ruin it for those who actually have decent items already as it would crash and the only people benefiting is whining ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that didnt have it.
Valve won't do that, because people will buy a bunch of them just to list them in the market for a profit once they go off sale.

Finally someone with sense.
then please tell me why they do it for music kits, sticker capsules, stickers.. they can and it wouldnt crash the market in the least bit.. it might lose valve some money in terms of what they could have sold that many units at but they wouldnt have sold that many units if it wasnt for the sale.. your argument is basically combating why any store or any market would make a sale.. i think there is a lot of proof available to why it would be useful. for both parties.

and before you try to say im whinning so i can get better items.. i have quite a nice inventory.. i honestly dont care nor do i think they will do it.. i just think it would be nice..
I think it's a good idea tbh.
Even if Valve consider it as a money making idea.
the probablem with this is nametags function the same way as keys, in a sense that there a universal trading currency 1 nametag = $2 in the same way that 1 key = $2.5 and if they put a sale it would mean people would trade for nametags at all because just having it is more risky than without potential sales

Valid point
Nametags are so lame. I want everyone to know I have a Stattrak Howl, not a regular one when I kill them.

Valid point, but again I would bring up the whole sticker, case sales they have put on.

I see the difference dont get me wrong but i dont see it in the favor of the keys or name tags..

when the first stickers went on sale no one really knew if they should buy into them or not..
well i think all of us wish we would have, becuase some of the stickers are worth 30+
when you could have gotten them for 25 cents..

much bigger difference than a nametag that is sold at 1 dollar and goes to 2 dollars or keys 1.25 to 2.50...
because they are sold at a standard price, they will go back to that price.

granted some people would make alot if they have it to invest.. but most people that wanted nametags would have bought them already. so it could just loose alot of people their investments..

but valve still makes money off of that either way both directions of the sale..

and it wouldnt hurt the market.. it simply puts a new tool to use that wasnt used before.

I dont know if that rant made sense to you, it makes so much sense to me.
