How long does it take to plant the bomb?

I hear that it takes a bit more than 3 seconds but does someone know the concrete time?

Just 3 seconds. As long as the clock still has 3 seconds on it you will plant in time.

Roughly 3 seconds. If you have 3-5 seconds left in the round and you immediately start planting, you should be able to postpone the timer.

The wiki just says "3 seconds to plant" and in my experience as long as the clock still reads 3 seconds you will get the plant. But apparantly the previous post I made wasn't good enough for the OP.

I think at CS:GO it's about 4 seconds you need to plant the bomb safely.
