Bunnyhop scripts

I've been bunnyhopping for about 2 years now and Its incredible fun, I can just about bunny in pubs but its by no means consistent, I was tempted to download a Bhop script such as this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fYOLVkW6JQo The script itself doesnt do the hard stuff like stafes, it only times the jumps. Tons of people say that it's not a vac-able offense but I'd like to get an answer from a Valve rep as I highly value my account and a VAC would really ruin things.

PS though I am looking for a response from a Valve employee; I am also open to responses from other players.

Just to clarify; my reasoning behind this is that it just spams space bar and nothing else making it effectively a macro which I dont belive to be against the rules.

I can bunnyhop without scripts anyway, this is purely a way of making it more consistent. Bhopping has been a part of fps titles for many years and was an integral part of source and 1.6. It is not against the rules to bhop.

You must have downs dude.YES you're going to get banned,VAC scans for programs like this ^ and the guy making the video is full of ♥♥♥♥ saying he's been using it for years.

You will definately get overwatch banned under the terms "other hacking" for using a bunnyhop script. It even specifys "player used other scripts or programs such as automated jumping scripts, upsidedown views, spinbotting (yes even you afk spinbotters might get caught too)

THE PROGRAM DOES NOT IN ANY WAY EFFECT CSGO OR ANY VALVE SOFTWARE, It is simply a system command for WINDOWS that repeatedly presses the space bar when activated. As far as overwatch goes, I CAN ALREADY BHOP AND I HAVE BEEN DOING SO FOR YEARS!!!!!!!! I have so far not been banned and it is a normal part of CS.

Why dont you just go to regular BHOP server and bhop how much you want there? Instead of playing MM with a bhop script and risking some kind of overwatch ban.

It's a non-vaccable offense, but only because it doesn't modify the internal files, only adds to them. You still aren't allowed to use Bhop scripts, and you can be banned by Overwatch for using them. So many ♥♥♥♥ say it's 100% legal, they need to read the bannable offense guide.

You're a lucky ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that nobody on Overwatch actually reads what is bannable.

Just to clear up some things, bhopping legit is absolutely fine, even using a MW bind is ok. You just aren't allowed to have a macro doing it for you, that removes the skill behind it.

You said it yourself: It makes you more consistent. Additionally it saves the attention you'd need to direct at jumping. Makes the whole thing easier.

Frankly, it's a classic cheat, even if there is no reliance on hacks. You could say the same things about a script automatically timing your shots or compensates recoil. Doesn't affect the game in any way when done by a simple, external software. Still bannable, as it should be.
