Is Silver Elite Master good?

Hey,Patato here and I'm wondering if Silver Elite Master is good.Just made my 10th comp match.Some info :
I played a total of 35 hours cs go.
I didn't watch many youtube clips,kinda learned by myself.
My favorite weapons are :FAMAS,SG and P90.I can snipe too.(not sure if matters)
I have a mic wich is nice.
I'm always in the top 3,mostly 2 or 1.
I can throw grenades but I don't know any really good places.

I'd like some feedback and if SEM is good or if I should practice a lot more :D

No it isnt. If you want to get out of silver hell you'll have to learn alot and play matches more often. And when you finally reach a rank of LE-SUPREME you will just get cheaters alot but still.
Go watch youtube videos, go train on maps and different things. Find you're right sensivity and stuff and you will be good to go :) You can also just add me if you want training ^^

I advise you to seek out players who are better than you are and play agaisnt them.
You sound like a guy who learns better from experience,and playing people who are much better than you may be the best way for you to learn.

Also look up anders's guide to cs:go practice,try and practice once a day for at least 10-15 mins with his method.

• any silver is kinda bad, but with 35 hours being at the top of silver is commendable
  
• skill with P90 does not matter because P90 requires next to no aim, sniping however is a good skill to have
  
• having a mic and communicating where players are automatically makes you better than 95% of silvers
  
• smoke placement is something you either learn for long range smokes or think of on the fly, flashing and smoking certain areas depending on where enemies are is something you adjust to over time

the best thing to do right now is to learn how to use AK and M4 and learn some key smokes for different maps. keep going!

Well, it's not a suprise that you end up in silver, because you still don't really know what you're doing in the game and silver is like the bottom of the bottom rank.

But it's normal I'd say. Play more, learn how to aim, learn maps, communicate and you will easily rank up.

Any silver rank isn't a good rank and you will pretty much be considered a noob. For your 10th match SEM is decent but if you don't want to be considered a noob anything above Master Guardian is decent. Your gun choices are pretty normal for a new player but I suggest learning the spray control of an AK-47 or m4a4/m4a1-s because when you progress further on you will be using those guns waaay more often. Use maps like aimbotz or recoil master to warmup before games, trust me it'll help alot. Also, you should play maps other than Dust 2 and Nuke because those maps are literally smurfing hell. Practice with bots on different maps to get a feel of the map. Also watch youtube videos to learn good grenade throws on each map. Solo queuing is really based on luck since you can get matched with decent people or complete trolls so you should find a couple of friends to play with. You should also go on the steam workshop and download a map called Crashz' Crosshair Generator where you can create a custom crosshair without making an autoexec file.

I just got Silver Elite Master after almost 70 hours in this game. I am one of those Call of Duty players many csgo players seems to hate. And I dont want to learn ♥♥♥♥ like spray patterns or economy ♥♥♥♥. I like certaind weapons like the SG, Aug, Ump, Mp9 and perform decent. Just like u I am pretty much always on top of my team. I consider myself beeing decent.

I still have SEM after being inactive for a few months (Was GNM after 10 matches), My team cheated and got VAC banned, then i started losing without good teammates to help me and then I quit for a few months. My computer was broken for a month and my rank disappeared and I got SEM after playing one match. Few days later I realised that I just ranked up.
I have 700+ hrs in CS:GO, but I'm slowly getting out of this silver hell.
