Mic problems only in CS:GO

I've troubleshooted my mic, and it works fine on all of my other programs. A couple days ago, no one could understand me in game. This is after it working well for months. I have a mac and using the built in mic. Help would be really appreciated.

Mic is distorted for Mac user VOLVO PLS FIX

My microphone works fine in the lobby, Skype but when i go in a game it does not work properly
and it hurts my ability to do callouts. So please Valve fix it as soon as possible.

Mac mics csgo

my mac's mic is really weird. one day it's fine and next day my voice on the mic is deep and not understandable for people i'm playing with (on csgo). is this a bug? can it get fixed? Please help.

CS:GO new Update Microphone Glitch (Mac)

So I Update the game after I finish a MM match and installed the new update for csgo. The next day when I open it and play it My teammates Telling me that my mic sounds like a void changer and kicked/muted me if I don't stop. So I change my mic and play agian but it didn't help. So I try reinstalling my game and steam, change microphone ports and other but it still won't work SOMEONE PLS HELP!

There is a new mic issue since the last week of April.

Hey guys. Does anyone know what is up the with the mics. It sounds like they are really slowed down and stuff in game. And it has not only been happening to me. I think you guys will understand. If so what can I do to fix it and how are some people unaffected. Thanks so much!

i think there might be a problem with the mac right now and its mics. if you have a mac thats probably the issue. If not i dont know. I hope valve fixes this

Same problem here on CS GO, mic is fine with the test in-game and same in lobby w friends. But when I play the game, to others it sounds like a sick wale is talking in slow-motion!

That's what they said to me as well. I was looking around, and it seems to be a common problem for mac users. There's another new discussion about it. What a pain!

Microphone Problem For Macs

Hello Valve. I am here to make it known that the microphone system for Macs (it would appear to only BE Macs, as 90% of users don't experience this and there are much more PCs than Macs) is broken. For some reason, the latest update (4-28-15) has caused mics to speak in a slow motion effect. This obviously makes life very hard, as I am forced to use third party software like Skype, Teamspeak or Google Hangouts in order to successfully communicate. Solo queuing is especially difficult, as most people aren't about to hop on to Skype or TS with a stranger.
I'd like to see this update fixed before I'm VAC'd for griefing (voice mod), before i get kicked from yet another game, and before my colleagues die from someone i saw around the corner whom i couldn't call out.

Microphone glitch

Whenever i talk to the other people in a ranked game, it sounds like i have a very crappy voice changer. It's not my mic, because people in skype and TS3 can hear me fine.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
