How many players own knives ?

Is there any info about how many cs:go players own knife skins ? And if not , could steam make a survey or smth ? Would be nice to see that

IDK. I'm LE and default knives are less common than FN m9/Karambit/Butterfly skins on my average games...

I have gone through (and traded) 3 $100+ knives and currently own a Butterfly Knife | Blue Steel MW. I have seen many, many knives but I would have to say, while in higher ranks of play they are more common, the high-ranked knife-owning players are actually just a small percentage of the overall player base of the game. Besides, I don't think buying a Steam gift card or two and picking up a Gut Knife | Sand Dookie (exterior Battle-Scarred) for ~$35 counts. When we look at things like that we might see far more people. However, when you think only about $100+ knives the percentage goes way, way down because basically the only people who own expensive knives are VERY lucky, VERY rich, or VERY adept at trading. There aren't many of those kinds of people.

the percentage should be the same as unboxing a knife since all knife have been unboxed at some point

down here in silver i get an average of one knife owner per game
