P90, no debate.

But Mac-10 and Mp9 are pretty good for second round eco.

P90 and Bizon for Pistol/Eco Rounds

Bizon if you win pistol round because it gives you so much money. Then after the enemy buys P90 if u like spraying or famas/galail if u like bursting.

P90 is the best overall alternative to an assault rifle.

Bizon is the best anti-eco smg.

UMP-45 is the best force-buy smg for mid / long range shooting.

MP9/MAC-10 are the best force-buy smgs for close range shooting.


That said:

AK/M4 > P90 when you can control your fire and movement.
Galil/FAMAS > Bizon after winning a pistol round.
P250 + plenty of nades > UMP/MP9/MAC-10 on a force-buy round, if you're accurate.

So really... if you're good at the game, there's no reason to use an SMG.
