CSGO is a Casual or Competitive/Hardcore game?

So, that`s my question. CSGO is a Casual or Competitive/Hardcore game?

CSGo is a new kind of game, a hardcore competitive multi ban game.

Hardcore because to understand the game at a high level you need to spend years playing it.
Competitive because there is competicion.

But you can play casual like most of people I think. #PRO90

I know personaly we can play at both ways.
The casual player plays at casual mode,
the competitive/hardcore player plays at competitive/casual mode.

But the game in itself it's casual or competitive?
When the Dev make it, they think about a Casual game or a Competitive/Hardcore game?

They thought about money and marketing.
CS gameplay is old with old maps, nothing really change, except the ignoble ban system.

You can be a hardcore player and play casual 20 vs 20, if you really want to know how game works and all the tricks you are a hardcore gamer.

I see myselft as "normal Player" got 1 30 min cooldown which was my own bad. I did never experienced a Cooldown without reason.

Why you can be Banned?

-Abandoning a game
-Attacking teammates / teamkilling
-Abusing the kick system
-AFKing or otherwise not participating in a game that you have joined
-Cheating using a script, cheat application, or any other software designed to give you an unfair advantage

Same, I never got a ban for no reason, and I have been banned even 7 days a year ago, for depression and teamkilling.

What about when my computer leave me, or my connection drops, or something unexpected I can't reconnect in time: BAN or not BAN ?

What about when my old building has electricity cuts, it happened last week:
BAN or not BAN ?

Attacking teammates / teamkilling:

What about when a teammate or me go fortuitously on a friend fire or HE ?
BAN or not BAN ?

I have certainly forgotten a lot of situations who kill the gameplay with this system.


So, as I said, this stupid system put all players in same bag potatoes.

It's a casual game with a rated matchmaking that makes it appear hardcore.

1.- shoud be 30 minuts
2.- shoud be 30 mintus
3.- you need to do alot of damage
4.- A nade don't ban you

If you have alot of problems with coneccion better don't play MM, you ruin the experience of other players, you deserve all the bans you had. The system is to prevent people like you to play, so good for me and all people that want a 5vs5.
