SSG 08 is the worst gun in cs go.

Seriouly, it really is, and its completly outclassed by the awp. Your bullet never kills in one hit to the body, which is a death sentence, Your fire rate is slow the damage is weak; its a crapshoot all around. The only thing the sgg has over the awp is the movement speed, but that still dosn't matter considiring the fact that it can only kill in one shot to the head!

To even further my point, the ak is a one shot kill to the head, but it has an automatic fire rate and you can use it at close range if you spray, making it an effective all-purpose weapon and one of the best weapons in cs go. The whole point of the bolt action sniper is that its effecive at range and be able to compensate a slow fire rate for high damage. The sgg 08 doesn't do that and that makes the gun very user unfriendly and one of the worst guns in the game since any Assault rife, lmg, or smg with a one shot kill to the head can completly overpower it.

Overall, I just can't see any value in the sgg and have a hard time grasping the usefullness of this gun. If you want to use a sniper rife, just use the AWP. If you want to make a quick getaway as fast as possible switch to your CZ75 auto or the knife and you would get the same movement bonuses the sgg has to offer.

If you think I am full of ♥♥♥♥ and you the the sgg is a decent weapon, please convince me why. Cause I just can't see why the weapon would be practical.

are you munted? the SSG 08 has faster reloading rate, easier movement, and IF you are well skilled in aiming, headshots are insta-kil, SSG08 is a good starter sniper if you are saving up for the AWP, the stats of SSG 08 are fair for its price, i have seen plenty of pros using ssg08 over the AWP and still destroying.

I myself can't call the SSG 08 bad, it just takes skill to use it. I do honestly prefer AWP (♥♥♥♥ the semi-auto snipers, they are crutch weapons).

Believe me, MP9 and MAC-10 are FAR worse than the SSG 08 will ever be.

it's good weapon if you have a good pistol i usually take it with five seven or p250, which would lead to 3200$ or 3000$ full equip except nades . all you need is to do the first shot and not get killed in the first challenge. if you manage to do that, 80% chance you win just by doing a 1 jumping shot with the pistol or risking a peek which gives you a higher advantage over the awp due to the increased mobility. as i said, it all happens in the t-1 when you have to land the first shot and manage to get to cover fast
