benq RL2455HM wont go into 144hz

when i open up my nvidia control panel, 144hz just isnt an option. the only choice is 60hz, im connected to my pc via DVI. and help anyone?

You need either DUAL-LINK DVI connectors or Display Port to support that refresh rate.

if you bought the benq new it should come with a dual-link DVI cord already! it's just a normal white connector cord but you have to look at the ends and read what it says.

hmm, i dont recall getting one. and looking around i only see an extra vga, i couldve easily misplaced it though
