GTX 750 A Good Card For This Game?

I have a amd radeon 8670d graphics card (not that good)
And i play on lowest settings, and get about 50-75 fps which isnt bad
But im sick of it looking like shat.
SO..i was wondering if the gtx 750 is a good card for running this game better at high settings?

i have a GTX 750ti and yes it does work very well, but thats not the only thing you need to have for a better preformence, you need a good processor (i have a intel core i5) you need enough RAM (i have 8GB) and that is the basic things you need, then there is some other stuff you have to think about if you want the game to run "perfectly"... (and the game runs very well for me, 250-300fps on the highest settings)

This guy is right, CPUis even more important in this game than the GPU.

What speed does your CPU run at? Just curious as I have the same GFX card and ram but dont quite get that high in terms of FPS, mines around 150-180 with everything maxed

I have i5with gtx 660m that rocks csgo at consistent 120-160 fps, also rocks skyrim with about 70 mods without a glitch

my cpu - amd a10 6700k
8 gb ram
and then i would have the 750 when i buy it

i have a

gpu - 7560d
4gb ram

and i run this at 60-80 on low

with 1440x900 resolution

I got this game to work on my 8 year old intel celeron all it takes is some skill

Yeah, the 750 should be fine.

Same question to you, what speed does that cpu run at? Im not familiar with intel

My graphics card isn't working atm, so I'm playing on Intel HD graphics off of my i5 3570k; and I get well over 60 FPS at lowest settings. (1080P) (I also have 16 GB of RAM)

Pretty much any decent GPU coupled with any decent processor can play this game maxed out with ease.
Since the engine was realeased in '04, Source games are extremely light on hardware requirements.

With my GTX 660ti installed, my framerate never drops below 350 while the game is maxed out.

How on earth are you all getting so much higher fps on the same gfx as me?
