How to Fix Game Freeze on "Sending Client Info"

I have been playing CSGO for about 3 weeks and I've been enjoying every minute! Recently however, I have been having Constant Freezing[/] when I am loading a map. It will freeze most commonly on the Sending Client Info[/] portion of the map load. Sometimes, but rarely, it will load and I will be able to play.

The game will freeze and my only option to "regain control" of my computer is to restart it completely.

I have tried the following with no success...
- Verifying Game Cache
- Re-Installing
- setting.mem_level to "0"
- Changing Date / Time on Computer

Hope we can figure this out! I have a 7 day ban because I was crashing and failed to join in time :(

Aye. I experience the same problems occasionally.

I just disconnect and cancel the load when it freezes on sending client, then reconnect to the server. The second attempt goes through ok for some reason.

Hey! I had this same problem... Believe it or not I fixed it trying to fix a different issue. I was unable to talk in certain games without it crashing so I decided to manually download and install my sound drivers again and it worked! the sound was the source of pretty much all my issues.

Now I'm the first to get into every game and i'm stuck waiting for people to enter with the same issue :P
