Half Life is Valves first game. It came out in 1998 and they are only up to Half Life 2.
Left 4 for Dead came out in 2008 and they are only up to Left 4 Dead 2.
They won't release a new Counterstrike for a long time.
As other have said, updating CSGO to the rumored Source 2 engine is far more likely as the same thing happened when the Source engine came out.
Valve isn't Activision. They doesn't rehash new versons of their games every few months.
