Explain to me why CSGO is better than Call of Duty

i like both games for there own reasons.

however. one reason i like csgo. i payed for the game a while ago 2.50$. so price is much cheaper. then you get a ton of things with the game. no having to buy map packs. i then had to put in 5 dollars for my steam wallet to by the bloodhound pass. (i have owned the game a while but never played till a couple months ago). and then i got the pass for 3 dollars as it was on sale last week.

so a 2.50$ game plus 3$ for a pass. that is 5.50$ i put into the game. i have won many drops of cases and skins. most of which you can sale for 3 cents and make a penny. a few that are worth more. a case i won was worth 7 dollars. then today, i got a weapons drop for ranking up. it ended up being a factory new M4A4 poseidon which i sold for 132.25$ which i got 115$ out of it. which now i can purchase whatever games i want, skins, another pass if it comes out, etc.

so i can buy bo3 (a call of duty game) with the money i just got from csgo.

LOL, I got banned for a week for making this topic. How did Anthropomorphic PotatoE find it? Also, months later, Steam users still don't know what spoiler tags are...remind me which fanbase consisted of children again?

Honest opinion of why i think csgo is better.

For starters its traditinal CSGO is one of the few fps games without jetpacks and stickey granades C4 and claymores bouncing bettys lazer guns exo suits jump boosts kill streaks and the list goes on. We have a game where there is two teams all who have an equal advantage when it comes to guns and nades they can buy. instead of just picking a class with a 1 hitter quitter gun 5 diferent nades dual weilding smg's and killstreaks that can get 12 kills a pop. you have just guns and nades the only thing that gives advantage over another player is your acual skill. of course tho there are still the newbs that run around with p90's and auto snipers that think they are good but as appose to cod that happens rarely. in cod you have unlimited lives in most game modes which meens they wont play as skillfull cause they are in the mindset that if they die they will respawn and get to go back and kill again. But in CSGO if you die you must wait till the round is over before you can respawn. which leads to players being more carefull with their 1 life per round so CSGO takes alot more skill to play in that sence that you have 1 life instead of unlimited. and again i wont stress enough about the exosuits dumbest thing ever now instead of checking your corners now you have to check all your corners and the sky its only a matter of time before they make some sort of drill that lets you come from underground at your opponents.

Search and Destroy exists, it was the basis for a very popular mod called COD4ProMod which removed all the perks and killstreaks and enabled 90 FOV.

...You're responding to a 3-months old topic where I pretended to be a stoner who said CSGO players "inject heroin everyday" and threated to have "my meanie older brother who benches 280 and plays CSGO" beat up "racist trolls from Australia".

I got banned for this topic. It was never real. I've actually logged 45 hours into COD4 since I made this topic and I can confirm COD is a trash series with no skill that rewards run-and-gunners who use zero tactics. I once got a 30-killstreak, if that tells you how pathetic COD is.

CS:GO is $15 and you get free maps every few months = COD is $70+ and you have to pay for new maps and skins. CS:GO Is built for competetive = COD is built for the story and multiplayer.

CS:GO will last you for a lifetime and has regular updates = COD releases a new title every year and you need to spend another $70+ to get it.

CS:GO has better balistics and more realistic weapon stats = COD cod has some materials that you can shoot through but very unrealistic weapon balistics.

CS:GO Has a more realistic setting = COD has a map on a boat and you can drop a nuke on it and it still floats.

CS:GO is a more realistic game overall = COD has killstreaks, no recoil, less skill to play and no teamwork. If COD was a competetive game they wouldn't have a nuke that you can drop when you get like 30 kills and so on.

CS:GO Has the esl 1 championships and a few million people that watch it every year and god knows how many that play it = COD has squeakers that can't stand being killed but when they kill you once they flip a sh!t and think they're gangster.

CS:GO can teach you about economy and how to spend your money strategically = COD you unlock guns when you level up which makes you more powerful over the newer players who have no good guns.

CS:GO has more balanced weapons and different weapons are used in different situations = COD one gun can destroy everyone on the enemy team such as the very op scorpion evo which has a high mag and a fast rate of fire and impossible to counter.

CS:GO was made to be competetive = COD was meant for the story, The first cod game i played was big red one and it had no multiplayer and it was the story that made it a good game but now they're pumping out the same sh!t every time like cod ghosts the fishes swim out of your way like wtf they should be trying to make new guns and balistics not fish animations.

1. A lower base cost has no bearing on the actual quality of the game. Besides, with case unlocks, you could end up spending far more than you would than even 1 COD with all the DLC. I once saw a college-aged dude go $4000 in debt over skins.
1 1/2(?). CSGO was built for competitive, but that didn't start until 2012. CSS was a pretty nooby game by comparison, as badly-built as an average COD IMO.
2. Maybe on consoles, but on PC COD attracts a decent amount of players. COD4 still has around 1000 regular players, and MW3 had 3500+ last time I checked. The updates thing is a good argument though, something IW/Treyarch should learn.
3. Uh...CSGO doesn't even have ballistics. Try ARMA or even BF for that matter. Both games are unrealistic horsecrap, BTW:

COD isn't a bad game. I would think the game is made more for the story line more than the comp matches.
