This is a team oriented game, whereas COD is an arcade run and gun shooter. You actually need to strategize as a team. More so than on COD.

I can't stand COD. Not very good at this game but love it. Battlefield fan for sure. Even though this is still more fun.

I got CS:GO for $3.74 back in 2013, and have 2800+ hours of entertainment, and more to come.

The thing that makes csgo btr than COD is nothing. Better is personal. However csgo is better in MY opinion because of the community and the fact that what we want in the game, we HAVE in the game very soon afterwards. aka skins, maps, nerfs/buffs(most of the time). Also there is the fact that we can make our own servers with our own gamemodes and that it is ultra open to modding on these servers

Someone has never played Search And Destroy, LOL. It's what your ****ty game stole for one of its modes, the other being a Dr. Kleiner babysitter mode no one over the age of 11 plays.

There's also the fact that it is a highly commercial franchise, people buy and move to a new game every single year so each title is disposable and doesn't have enough time to mature and become as polished as the classic Counter-Strike.

And are you sure CS isn't "polished" and "classic" because Gaben is afraid of losing money from its basement-dwelling fanbase who have logged 20,000 hours on de_dust2 over the last 15 years? Ooh, so close bud. But I find "takes more skill" to be a flawed argument. Anything can take skill when you devote enough time to it. High-level COD probably looks similar to high-level CS from a spectator standpoint. I've seen promod videos not unlike de_dust2 matches, and I would've gotten slaughtered just as bad if I were in those matches.

Even games like Mario Party or Bomberman probably have its own masters who win every time. I'm looking for more along the lines of "it isn't programmed as clunky", "higher risk/reward system", or "the guns actually have unique stats".

CS GO is better than call of duty because call of duty on the PC sucks balls, it has sucked balls for a long time, the last good competitive call of duty on PC was cod 4. I think call of duty 4 is much better than CS GO (because of hitboxes, recoil, maps), but it an old outdated game. CS GO is just new, and the Esport and competitive aspect attracts many many players which is crucial. Skins have also brought gambling into the scene, which brings spectators and people who don't even play games into the community. So basically CS GO is bigger, better, and more popular on PC, that is why it is better than call of duty.
