Mouse pad control vs speed?
I have been using the control side of my Razer Vespula for the past 2 years and it is in need of a replacement so I'm looking for its successor. I was primarily looking at the Razer Goliathus and was wondering which is better for CS, the Speed or Control edition? I feel as if the speed variant would be to loose and that I have trouble controlling (haha pun), my mouse. I was just wondering if the speed editions feels better on cloth mats that it does for hard pads like the Vespula?

Which do you prefer, control or speed and which is better cs iyo?

controll..
Speed is better for flicks, since you are mainly going to play MM, take controll. for steady aim

I'm actually the secondary awper, support rifler for my team TG Guardian, so I am serious and I don't want to make the wrong decision I'll probobly go with control large since I use a lower sensitivity and I have large desk

Good. You don´t need to flick amazingly with the awp anyways (if your positioning is right). since you are playing the support rifler too...

Chances are 2:1 that controll is better.. (2 situations that fit with controll vs 1 with speed)

speed i think is obvious, just turn your dpi or sensitivity down if you want control, and when yuo need to make a flick shot or just move faster, yuo dont have the resistence of the mouse pad

Depends on his playstyle... I think as an support rifler_____ controlled aim > fast aim___

Same goes with the awp... It´s easy enough to miss a flick. While a precise shot is far more effective.

exactly my point, turn down sensitivity if you want control, there are pros and cons to each side, and opinions will be opinions, i see your point tho but i prefer my wa and i hope yuo see my point.

I understand you completely...

Well, I´m playing Entry in my team, but I play with 300 dpi and 4.08 sensitivity...
Reason? I´m preaiming at the spots anyways, and I´m not able to hold my aim steady with 800dpi or more...

So I prefer controlled aim. If I´m unable to get a kill, and my support gets it, then I´ve done my job too.

Ya I sometimes have to entry frag as well and I find my very flicky way of preshooting corners is unaffected by the hard control mat that I have been using, the main reason why I will be upgrading is because my vespula is simply just to small and I need more room to effectively and consistently due 180 degree turns.

I have gone to a friend's house who had a speed mat and I found it impossible to keep my xhair position consistently at head height, I will definitely be going with the control edition goliathus. thank you :D
