because the p2000 can draw attention and set up USP users for easy flanks.
Both weapons have the same rate of fire, same amount of recoil (actually the p2k recoil pattern is better because it goes up while the USP goes to the sides), same amount of damage.
Technicaslly the USP is a bit more accurate on the first shot (6.9 vs 7.4 or something like that) but it's not noticeable.
It all comes down to 12/24 + silencer vs 13/52.

You can get A nade if you 5 7 it and you're usually holding a site with a 2nd player whos kitted up anyway.
