Can i play csgo in China

In a couple of years im going to Beijing China for like 3 years probably and i wanted to know if i can still play my CSGO and my other steam games while i am there.

there is also a chance you will encounter a lot of players from Japan, who are americans etc on business trips or study, last time i visited Shanghai, and played mw3 years ago, the servers hooked me up with a lot of american players in Japan. but then again, you will also connect with chinese players, just pray that the langauge barrier isnt too strong

You can play CS:GO(MM) in China for sure. but you must to get one thing, the Chinese National Internet Censorship or call it Great Firewall(GFW).

Why did playing CS:GO have a relationship with the damn thing? because the GFW will be obstruct international network traffics(any communications)!

There wasn't Valve official servers in Chinese Mainland, nearest MM servers that location in Singapore, so your all gaming communications that connected to the Valve official servers under GFW monitoring, you gonna be get high latency and loss.

How to fix it? Proxy Tool.

This is not incite you Cross-GFW, Cross-GFW maybe get a tea invite(got summoned from national security department lol)

Chinese GFW monitoring mode upgrade, you can playing any online games smoothly across the countries without proxy tools. The international network traffic of games will not be disturbed by GFW.

BTW, type this parameter in console or writte into config file:

Steamdatagram_client_force_relay_cluster "hkg"

It can make you get low latency(<40ms) in foreign offical CS:GO servers for MatchMaking.(MM almost be HongKong Offical Servers)

Playing on PerfectWorld servers, gaming latency < 10ms.(PerfectWorld, Valve Partner, Distribution agent of CS:GO/Dota2 in China)

Simple guide of how to playing on PerfectWorld CSGO servers:

1. Register PW account.

2. Binding your steam to PW account(Login PW website via steam login webpage.)

3. ID verify and get a activation code:

4. Use the activation code to activate qualification for playing on PW Servers:

5. Set CS:GO launch option:
-perfectworld
