Left-Mouse Not Working In CS:GO [RESOLVED]
Just today, i started up Counterstrike: Global Offensive. I've been playing regularly for a few weeks now. Everything was working fine today until i tried warming up with bots. I got into the game to quickly find that I could hardly fire any weapons. Maybe one out of every thirty clicks would register. I used two different mice. The first, the track-ball wired Logitech mouse I usually play with, was the one I was using when I noticed the problem. I switched out for my iHome wireless optical mouse to discover that this one did not work either. I tested both mice extensively out of the game, and they both work perfectly fine until I am trying to fire in Counterstrike. I apologize if this has already been resolved elsewhere, I couldn't find anything in my search. Any help or links would be appreciated. Both mice are fairly new, and yes, I'm sure they function outside of the game.

I checked the driver for my logitech ball mouse, the driver is definitely up to date... Also, it definitely isn't an issue with the game. I now have "fire" bound to my E key. This works every time.

Delete driver and install it new.

Also try enabling in the options of csgo "enable raw mouse input" just to be sure.

Any changes to your PC between when it worked and now?

Also try pluging it into different usb port, that sometimes helps with usb things.

Any chance the mouse driver recently updated, maybe even automatically?

Try installing older drivers.

You might find some useful info in this search:
https://www.google.com/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=r1chVYqXJuyg8weVqYDADA&gws_rd=ssl#q=left+mouse+button+suddenly+stopped+working

Here seem to be some things to try: http://www.q2apro.com/forum/51/windows-left-mouse-click-not-always-triggering-driving-nuts

Also try this>
It's possible you have a corrupt Mouse registry entry.
Try Start/Run/regedit and find the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Mouse entry. Backup that entry by doing a File/Export. Delete the Mouse entry under Control Panel, reboot and let Vista redetect and build that entry.

Just some random suggestions you might try. Best to continue that search or adjust keywords.

Thanks for all the suggestions, Neeony. If none of those work, i'll just go with the way it is. I don't think anything has changed with my laptop, though I did recently try disabling the raw input in Cs:GO. That may have been the root of the problem.
EDIT:
Raw input and computer restart did not solve the problem.

Update: I uninstalled the mouse driver and then plugged it back in. Problem is still persistent.

Problem resolved. I had to switch ports, then delete the driver again, and replug in the mouse. Thanks for all the help guys!

The way to fix it - type in console - unbind mouse1 & then go to settings and set it up again.
