I'd say you don't learn anything, just like that I had 500 hours of casual play (AWP, knives, kz, gungame, minigame, 10v10) until I tried competitive, and making first steps in comp all my fundamentals were terrible, I had to learn everything from zero.

That seems reasonable. But last time I saw a 1.5k hour player they were Nova 1, and I just played a game a few hours ago with a Nova 4 with 30 hours.
In any event, I just deranked again in a game with a blatant cheater. After we reported him he turned off the cheats and he sucked completely, but he had run up the score so high that they had already won. Just waiting for the reversal and rerank now.
