Are pro player really use 800x600 res???

I do web surfing and accidently see that pro thread talking about pro player using 800x600?
Is it real?

one of my buddies told me someone he knew who was a die hard CS player said the guy would play on lowest resolution and lowest graphic settings. it wasnt because he had a bad computer it was just his preference

yea in the old days the games at lower rez had eazier hit box from far and the rez is faster like that, play on low everything and its easier to kick ass

i use the lower resoluthion becus im dedicated not just for the skins or to waste time but to play it for real better performans and stuf i use all low

yes use it if you expiriens lag spikes withn games and stuff dont matter about the skins skins are for the weak just play threw be a good dedicated person and np

You're kidding right? If you have lag, yes, lower your settings but given a choice, you want sharper graphics. You want to be able to tell what is what

This game is not COD piece of ♥♥♥♥ where the all the twelvies care only about latest graphics.. CS GO in fact has ♥♥♥♥ graphics and the only reason for the improvement of them is to get the brain dead 12 year old downies to play the game and buy skins... Ofcourse pro's play on low res, i play on 640x400 because of better performance and i have an old PC but even if i had latest model gaming PC i'd once again play 640 or the max i'd go for is 800... You think just because you have the graphics options maxed out that you will have advantage over others? I will slice your ass before you know it even though i play on the lowest possible graphics.

Use a resolution you're comfortable with. Don't just copy a pro cause he's good.

Wow i easily get 250-300 fps on low settings 1080p on a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop that is 3years old. Whats your advantage on 800/600 then ?
