What it does, is that it allows you to change the amount of kills you have on a stattrak skin, to another exact same stattrak skin, but of different exterior quality.

For example, let's say i have 2 StatTrak P90 Trigon's, one field-tested, and the other one minimal wear.

The FT one has 200 kill on it, the MW none.

With the tool, i can swap my kills from the FT one, to the MW one.

Hopefully this will explain enough.

It allows you to swap stattraks between the same type of weapons.

So five seven kami stattrak can be placed on a Night shade skin to make it stattrak.

Is that the case?
I understood it differently.
it seemed to me that it was a tool that allowed you to place a stattrak on any gun in the same type.

or was I totally confused?

I think so, at least. I don't know too much about the tool though because i haven't used it myself.

Yeah, the description states that it allows transfer of stattrak values

AAAH, that is a totally pointless tool then as you can just idle the figures if that is your wish.
In fact, why pay for fake achievements if you can just idle them?

Well, the point is just that some people upgrade their weapons and hate losing their kills I guess. Some people don't like to idle them I guess?

Anyway, it's to promote the new stattrak trade ups. Trade in your old trash or buy trash to trade to (hopefully) get a upgrade of your current stattrak gun and then move the kills over to the new one.

The point I'm making is that idling for kills is lame, transferring kills to a new gun that hasn;t actually got the kills is as lame.
Personal opinion of course.

Indeed, I personally think it's quite cool ;) Though I propably won't use it any time soon.

I'm trying to see the value tbf.
I wouldn't transfer my kills to a different weapon, that feels dirty to me.

Well, some people don't like losing their "hard work" or want to keep their statistic as a whole. It will definitely lead some people to upgrade.

Just to make it clear: The weapon has to be the same, not the skin.

So both have to be Stattrak correct? Like I can't buy a battle scarred golden coil to transfer that stattrak to my minimal wear golden coil without stattrak. Cause that would be bonerific
