CS:GO stuck at loading screen when joining a game

My CS:GO today won't load the map and is always stuck at the first few seconds of the loading screen to load a map. It never happened before and I tested it on other games and they load like a charm. I have to ctrl alt del and open task manager to force close the program. Any fixes?

I did everything i could to fix infinite game loading. The game would get stuck on initializing game for ages, and then my screesaver would start and 1 minute later i get a ban. I literally tried everything and googled anything that could help. Verified game cache didnt work, changed stuff in video.txt didnt work. Then i figured it wasn't just csgo my whole pc was malfunctioning, lagging, windows unresponsive... etc. THE SOLUTION-
1. open run command. 2.msconfig,boot,advance option, uncheck mamimum memory.3.Then restart pc. (My PC was utilizing 2gb of ram while i had 6 GB of ram ( i know not impressive) but it did fix the infinite csgo loading. Hope it helps ! This should help if you your map loadsd forever or lags. If not google for other ways to fix it.

I was able to find a fix. If you have an app called "GameFirst IV", make sure it is not running. I believe this is an application that came with my ASUS motherboard.

My issue was that when I tried to join a match and finally found a server, the match would never load. There was nothing but corrupted packets showing up in the console. Tried running as administrator and then not, no difference. Tried uninstalling and re-installing, no difference. Confirmed that the Windows firewall was letting the application through, it was. Came across the suggestion to disable this application on a YouTube video and it worked perfectly.
