CS:GO in-game browser giving ad's that download virus to my computer

everytime i login to csgo the main home screen shows up as normal but then like 5 mins later it starts showing ad's and start download stuff to my computer that are viruses and are a pin to get rid of... if anyone knows how to stop this/fix plz tell me ... iv uninstall the game like 3 times but a cupple days in the ad's are there and are infecting my computer

You downloaded a virus. That's why the ads pop-up. Stop watching porn and scan your pc with an antivirus. If that doesn't work, well, you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Might aswell install a new windows.

The virus got in your game and it only triggers when you open CS:GO. I think those kind of viruses are called "bombs".

I have exacly the same as well, its only ingame but annoying AF. I can hear adverts whilst im playing and its not the browser its my csgo. And the weird thing is i have a mac as well, i am no fanatic of macs i would love to cash mine in for a pc, but generally they are less vulnerable to virus's

its not that they are less vulnerable but its that there are less viruses designed for macs since the majority of people use windows
