Recommended internet speed to play CS?
How much internet speed is required to play a decent Counter-Strike match online?
I live on an Island and there's only 1 ISP. The average download speed is around 40KBp/s, is that good enough?

I have 300 mb/s. I haven't experienced any issues and have very good ping. If you haven't bougt CS yet, I'd buy it, try to find some games in the first hour, if it's not bad, keep going. If it is bad, refund the game.

How much ping do you get in CS with 100 mb/s?

Internet speed not matter
is about ping, not speed
I have same ping with 20 megabit fiber as i have with 600 megabit fiber

Check all you cable
Check your router, modem, etc
Check for bad wifi signal, broken network card
Contact your ISP
Maybe they have a broken cable, damage technical equipment somewhere

I tried to play with my dsl 128kbit down and 64kbit up connection and i had problems playing it. If i try to find Games to join, i always get messages like "Ping to Official CS:GO servers al least 1000ms". I think the maps are bit too large and because of lack of bandwith, the ping will rise.

I think you need 256kbit connection Speed at least to play this game fluently.

I have like 1mbps (125KBps), I have tested my ping online with an average score of 30 pings. Can I able to play the game smoothly?
