Is it aganist the rules to play comp with no crosshair?
I have this question because I prefer playing csgo with no crosshair.

Don't think so. You are free to make your own crosshair. Just make it completly transparent and don't use any thirdparty programs or stuff like that. Go and download crashz' crosshair thing from the workshop and you should be fine.

I guess maybe he wants to use an overlay?

I've always wondered if it would be possible to make an overlay which is the AK recoil pattern in like a GIF format or something where on LMB-down it traces the line at the right timing.

Could be, but that would get detected by VAC pretty fast. And risking a ban just for the sake of a pattern. Dayum, it is so easy, why not just go and burn it into your head, you know. If you forget it, just shoot at a wall, right when the round starts and you got it.

well i've played around and found that i'm better without a crosshair. It helps with my aim and i get pretty good headshots.

S3 yea im low, but i'm doing pretty well now that I turned off my crosshair

I can also be good in S3 without crosshair, and playing with one hand....

Play the way you want, but be prepared to be insulted if you teammates discover that you are missing shots because you aim too high.
