Spectating deathmatch
Hi, something that has been bothering me since the start
when you see someone on a DM server who you think is cheating, you want to spectate him right ? so far so good, except for the fact that you can only do 1 team switch and you just switched to spectator mode and are unable to play for the rest of the match

this discourages me to report cheaters since i need to sacrifice my whole game to only see if they are actually cheating

TLDR: spectate mode in DM should allow you to switch back to your original team

Report a player in DM doesn't bring them to overwatch anyway. Not entirely sure if it does "anything" really, but either way, there's a solid 1/1000 chance that Valve would change this to the way you suggested. Not a good use of their time in their eyes.

I only play DM and Casual games. MM is so cancer. When I see someone I think is cheating I report them. I reckon I report maybe 2 people a week as I play so rarely now. But I get the message in my client "Someone you reported for cheating has been permanently banned" about the same amount as I actually report.

I have played for 10+ years CS and have a feel for how hackers play as I've met so many of them.

I normally check out their profile to see hours of play, Inventory etc before reporting. Normally this will be a clue when they have low hours and no items but play like a god.
