CSGO minimize on startup(FIX)

Steam,Library, Right click csgo, Propertiesset, launch options, -lockwindow

This fix will work with any program, game that have this problem through steam

Alternativly you can use the launch options -window -lockscreen if the first fix doesn't work then proceed to adjust your options in game.

please help it dosent work for me. when ever i start my cs go its always minimizing and when i start switching to cs go, after a sec it will minimize again. it takes a several time to finally stop minimizing

Half a year ago it happened to me also, but, as I remember, the problem is your anti-virus program, I had eset and deleted it, then I swithced to bitdefender and everything goes as well. If this doesn't work, try Complete CS:GO Re-install. What I mean by complete is to delete All the files, because after you delete it from steam, there is still some files that are left. You can leave "your made" configs or jumpbinds and after that maybe try changing resolution on your desktop and cs:go. (if you play at the different resolution than your desktop)

how can i make it so it doesnt maximizke, it just starts and stays as a little app icon on my like program bar thing and then i can click on it when i want to enter the game

Just Disable The Anti-Virus For CSGO And It Will Fix It :)

Thanks for this, once the screen stayed up I could see the error said some files were corrupt and as a result the game needs re-verifying.

when I open game, it shows game logo for one second and then it shows desktop, but game tab still selected in taskbar and I can't click anywhere. I only can close game from task manager

I would like to help more...back in days I use tot sort and fix lots of errors but I forgot
a little advice is press the windows block button so if you use CTRL or alt next to window in games it wont happen. Is usually on gamer keyboard up next numlook home and printscreen button and looks like joystick or a square with something on
