replicate and copy csgo skins for free.
Freud in skins
Recently, it had become a very big issue. People were shocked when they heard this issue: some steam users are "duplicating" their own skins and sold them for pure profit, from my knowledge, it was operated by few players, and they basically pretend that their items were stolen, then they will file a claim to steam for such issue and say that their computer is compromised or something. However, it was their plan to make steam believe that their items are actually stolen. I heard that they requires a lot "legit" steam account, meaning steam account with a lot games or a lot gaming hours, in order to make this scheme happen.

You might think what I said was BS, but it's definitely a fact. If you go to csgo.exchange which is a website where you can check the scratch value and the players of specific in game item you are looking for the convenience of trading. The proof of the illegal event which I described above is the EXACT SAME scratch value you can see on this website. The scratch value has like a 15th decimal place, there is no way that two weapons can have the same exact scratch value as one another. You can see what I am talking about in the attachment of this complaint. You can even go to two different steam users' account to inspect the TWO individual weapons that are exactly IDENTICAL to each other. ( you have to get the pass on the website in order to do so)

Moreover, the same scratch value of those weapons are not coincidence or some sort of bug or glitch, it is the proof of the fact that steam or valve are making the same exact weapon that those users "lost" or "stolen" by someone else.

I'm not sure about the actually procedure of how do they "steal" skins from the other account to mislead steam to believe that the person who lost the item actually got scammed. But the fact that those people are using this "technique" to make pure profit for personal gain which indeed broke the market is absolutely true.

From my current knowledge, the weapons which were replicated include: AWP DRAGON LORE , STATTRAK M9 BAYONET CRIMSON WEB (other Crimson web knives as well) and stattrak NIGHT (all knives).

Indeed. Those are the few of the most expensive and rare in game item in CSGO, and that's the reason why these people took such "effort" to replicate those skins because some of them were on sale or traded for value of $5000.

This issue is absolutely unfair for legit customers who actually put money and effort into the game.

I would really hope that valve and steam would take this issue seriously because from what I heard, this skin replication problem also exist in other game such as DOTA 2.

Please fix this problem and punish the ones who did them with proper procedure. It's not only just for me, but for the justice and balance of the whole CSGO community.

Thank you for taking the time to read my complaint.

Valve employees HATE him! See how this 40-year old is duplicating skins to make BIG MONEY! Has exploiting gone too far?

did I miss a click-bait trope?

This is the community forums, nothing can be done and this certainly isn't a complaint, and you've probably made a lot of people want to do this. Nice job.
