EDIT: Or just play shotgun/smg and spray to victory as usual, but this doesnt work so well at high ranks.
Crouching isn't a bad idea but it's not a great one either, and at lower skill levels, you probably shouldnt crouch since the enemy isn't even aiming for your head (the purpose of crouching is to screw up a headshot)
-Crouch while shooting and do short bursts like 3 tap bursts and then wait about half a second and do another 3 round burst
you can also stand in place and fire but it is a little less accurate.
-moving while shooting decreases your accuracy almost un-human like so you can only move while using a pistol or a p90.
-always aim for the head because if they have armor it will take a lifetime to kill them.
-Dragging down while you're spraying your gun will make you more 'able' to shoot them just be careful.
-Watch videos on how to aim correctly such as accuracy tutorial videos and such.
Let's use the AK as an example. The recoil and the spray pattern move along separate routes, although they are very much related. The first shot will fire pretty much where you expect: where the crosshair indicates. If you hold the fire button down, however, the gun will begin to kick up, so the crosshair will move up somewhat similarly to COD, but the bullets will begin to move higher than where the crosshair is positioned. The spray patterm will then finish out with more lateral movement.
If you'd like to learn the spray patterns and practice them, there is an excellent custom map to which you can subscribe through the Steam Workshop:

The goal is to get all of the bullets in your spray to hit the head.
Now all with that said about recoil and spray patterns, you'll probably want to 1-tap people in the head if you have to engage from a distance with your AK. Otherwise, if you're at medium range, you can try a very light burst at the head. When you're close, however, feel free to paint him all you can, starting with the head.
