What are your system specs? I might be able to help. Differenct levels of rendering often makes your pc struggle.

For example, Mirage as a lot of differenct heights and level of map play. So you might struggle on this map. From previous experienece Mirage was one of the most difficult on my old pc.

Well I am having enormous performance issues on Workout. The entire map is pretty demanding but the basketball field is straight unplayable. Some other maps I've tested, including aztec on high settings, work fine with framerates ranging from 60 to 120. The next issue would be smokes & fire grenades, which force my system to it's knees even on low settings and 720p.

Which settings would you recommend for competitive gaming? (GT 520 & i5-2320 @ 3.0 GHz)

I see this is an old post, but right now the most demanding map is insertion, if you still were wondering (probably not its been 2 years)

Nuke, Canals and Dust 2. All these 3 maps crash my 9 years old computer, even in 640x480 and everything on minimum.
