Mic cuts out in CS:GO Competitive.
Just after I've bought my new headphones, Plantronics Gamecom 788, my gaming desktop has been cutting out sound and my microphone. In game, at a random time, my headset will cut off. To get sound again, I have to unplug the usb and plug it back in. After they start up, my mic stops working. I end up leaving and rejoining in the middle of a competitive match to fix it. I've tried re-installing CS:GO, the headphone's drivers, changing my default mic on my control panel, but noting works. The headset works fine on my Windows 8 laptop, but my gaming computer, Windows 7, it has this problem.
Can anyone help find a solution? Thanks.

Did you just get a new headset after this? Mine used to do this a lot more but still does it randomly

Yeah my headset was bad. A new one fixed it.
