Do stickers add value to gun skins?
On the trading forum, people constantly state their skins have stickers on them. Does this instantly make the gun worth anymore? Same goes for name tags.
In my opinion though, I seriously think they don't add anyvalue whatsoever.
Thoughts?

Stickers are just ridiculous.Unfortunately a lot of little children seem to play this game, buying all these walmart-toy-gun-like-skins and put stickers on their hello kitty rifle.

Poor Counterstrike.

Believe me it's not only children who are putting stickers on their guns. Pretty much every professional gamer has those stickers and tags on their guns. I think putting sticker on your gun does increase it's value but not as much as a sticker is worth. There are alot of stickers worth almost $1. So adding them won't increase the gun value by $1 but maybe half of it.

I personally think name tags and stickers lose their values once applied to a gun. Only some people say that name tags and stickers add value to a gun.

Then why create a thread like this and ask for others opinion when you already have decided what you think about it. Also calling anyone who disagrees with you an idiot is called being narrow minded. Good luck having any constructive conversation when you called everyone who has different opinion an idiot.

A good rule of thumb while trading, is about $.50 cents per sticker. Buyers/traders such as myself, dont care what the sticker is, it just adds a little to the price and makes it more admirable when trading. Name tags are cool, but if its a dumb one, you can always remove it. So id say, stickers are more desireable verses name tags IMO.

Good point. Quite true I guess.

Totally depends if the person buying likes stickers.

But, I've seen plenty of stickered skins for sale on the first page of listings, right beside non-stickered skins for the same price.

I personally bought a P250 Splash for $0.60 that had a Ninjas in Pyjamas and Let's Roll-oll stciker on it. Those two stickers alone on the market would have cost more than $2.

You add no value to it whatsoever. When you go to put it on sale, it gets put onto the same lists as every other one of that gun.

You CAN put your own price higher if you wish. But whether anyone goes digging for a gun with a specific skin is a whole different matter.

For this reason I often look at the barely more expensive guns than the cheapest just incase it comes with a freebie I might like. I can sometimes grab some nice £2+ stickers for £0.10 or even free.

It does add value. Stickers cost money, period. I would say 25%-50% of the sticker cost is added to the weapon.

Maybe.... if the buyer/trader is interested in those stickers, in those postions. But usually not.

You can see plenty of stickered skins selling for the lowest prices on the market.
