BO stands for Body Odour and the numbers are a scale from 1 to 10. After a long night of CS:GO competitive I'm at least a BO7, time for a shower.

Bo2 does exist - it's typically used in group stages when you're tallying up points. 0 for a loss, 1 to both for a tie, 3 for a win - that sort of thing.

I was going to say the same.

Bo1 = one map to determine the winner.

Bo3 = three maps to determine the winner (if one team gets the first two maps, the third map isn't played).

Bo5 = like Bo3, only with max two more maps (if one team wins the first three, the other two aren't played).
