Stuck in Silver 2? [SILVER HELL]

I've been playing CS:GO for a while now with ~116 wins, yet I'm still Silver 2. Never ranked up to Silver 3 or more. I don't think I suck for proof check here http://csgo-stats.com/bnkookie/

I usually get a 1 k/d and 3rd-2nd place on the leaderboard. I'm not owning the other team all the time, but I feel like I'm at the wrong rank. I mean, silver 2 is meant for BEGINNERS, while Gold Nova, etc. are for the "average person". Either CS:GO elo system is messed up, or I suck.

HELP ME GET OUT OF SILVER HELL...

FYI: I've gone one 3-4 winning streak before, still no rank up.

Update 2018: Turns out this post got revived...from 2015. Also turns out grinding solves the rank issue I had. Got DMG then quit; videogames are hella toxic. Goodluck with life, all.

getting out of silver 2 was harder than getting to nova 3... So many smurfs, cheaters and unranked accounts, the silver 1-3 ranks are totally fubar'd. Just keep trying, or get a team.

Well I probably could carry you out of silver 2, but one of 2 things will happen. I'll get called hacker every game for stomping the other silvers, or you'll get smashed back down if not good enough to get silver elite or nova 1. (plus I don't think I can queue with silver 2 at nova 3 anyway)

I went for 6 games getting 1st place in every one with 30ish kills. No rankup. It's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

seems to me you need to string together wins, im SEM at the moment and whenever i can get 5 wins in a row i rank up
playing solo i regularly get losses in a row too and rank down to Silver4 , highest ive been from 5 match wins in a row was Nova3

well they would have to queue up with me, and we'd need 5 people. Then it would match us against nova's, the silver players would have to at least work together with me and them, or we would stand no chance in hell. Which is why I suggested he gets a team. I think nova 1 can still play with silver 2.

get a team or improve your skills, silver ranks should be no problem at all...

and thats regardless of KD or position on scoreboard, 5 wins in a row always ranks me up

The margin of skill between SIlver and Gold Nova seems small though. I once queued with a Gold Nova in competitive and got a positive k/d (4th place though).

But I don't wanna do a dozen games with people running around like headless chickens, or have to do a carry so hard the other team just yells hacks every round... So yeah, find some friends to queue with.

Its not uncommon for nova and silver to be among the same skill rating, with how many smurfs, alt accounts and cheaters there are in silver and unranked.

There aren't cheaters in Silver... unless they are literally so bad that you would think they had some sort of physical disability. Silver ranks are the lowest, which means the worst players are put there. If you deserve a higher rank, then you should be able to carry your team enough that a loss wont hurt your hidden elo too much (because you performed well, despite losing), and a win will grant a large boost to it, causing you to rank up faster.
