How often does CS:GO get new skins?
Like the title says. I would like to know the average time between new skins are added in updates (excluding knives and stickers of course).
Why? I'm new around and I would like to buy gun skins on market, but I don't want to end up buying a skin and then watch as a new skin for the same weapon get added a week later and then I regret my purchase.

Do you want the newest skin out there?

Chroma isn't that old so it will probably take a while, also when they just come out they are very expensive.

Nonono. I'm not looking for the newest skin possible. I'm just asking the average time it takes for Valve to add new skins in an update. For future reference.

Yup. Valve needs to put out new skins especially for the AK. Most skins are crappy skins. The only skin there is that is truly worth buying for the AK is the redline.
They add new skins like 5-6 times a year.

...So anybody know the time it takes for valve to add new skins? I'm not saying I want new skins. I just want to know the average time before valve does a skin update...

Edit: Ninja'd, just read newgraund's post.
Do you know exactly how much time between each update, though?

As already mentioned: 5 to 6 times a year: take the amount of month in a year, divide by 5-6 and you will end up with "every 2-3 month" ;-)

I guess it makes sense. I'll go with every 3 months. Thanks for the info.

What does it matter if there comes newer skins?? Just use the ones you have. The worst idea is buying new skins when they just keep dropping in price. Theres no reason to buy new skins unless you just like to burn money when new skins drop down in value....

I never mentioned the price in my posts. The only thing I would ever regret about buying a skin, is that another skin gets released and I like that one more than the one I use.
