When is the best time of year to sell CS : GO items?

Someone told me they best sell at a certain time of year?

anytime except before a steam sale or gift giving holiday. thats the time people ususualy liquidate for wallet cash.

also, sell newer items immediately while the market price is still high.

by steam sale you mean something like the summer sale or that recent co-op sale and not just some free weekend right?

Sure you might be lucky, but most of the people open over 50 or 100 cases and all they get is some blue ♥♥♥♥ skins.

you might be luckier getting a knife if you just refreshing the market page with knifes, every once in a while someone sells a knife for 0,04€ or so. Not sure if those people are really that stupid or just grateful.

can someone give me a list of which colours are better than others

e.g. in borderlands 2

cyan>orange>pink>purple>blue>green> white

(may of gotten e-tech(pink) and purple the wrong way around but u get the point

2) - Light blue - Industrial grade
3) - Darker blue - Mil-spec
4) - Purple - Restricted
5) - Pinkish purple - Classified
6) - Red - Covert
7) - Exceedingly Rare ★

Item Exterior:
(From worst exterior to best exterior.)

1) - Battle-Scarred
2) - Well-Worn
3) - Field-Tested
4) - Minimal Wear
5) - Factory New

If you want a knife, just save up and buy a knife. Yes, they're expensive, but you will (in all probability) spend more than the cost of one if you keep opening cases. Keep track of how much you spend.
