Why am i getting matched with gold players when i've only won 2 tournament games?

So i just bought CS:GO three days ago and i've played 2 tournament games with a friend that's silver elite. We won both of them and when i started a game the next day i get matched with gold and higher players, which is annoying because all i do is die. why do i get matched with players like that when i'm unranked?

So that it can determine your rank. After you get a rank youll be in alot better pool probably

But how am i supposed to get a rank if i can't win any game vs gold players?

say you win 2 to 'll match you with nova 1's see you lose the next 2 they'll match you again with silver elites .. untill you win 10 .. if you would win 10 straight you probs be ranked dmg 2 + ..

but now i've lost 4 games vs nova 4's etc and i'm still getting matched with them

whats the highest rank in your party ? if you solo que it should match you back with lower ranks ...

You get placed against nova 4, so the game must think you have some skill. I would be happy for now if I were you, even if you get destoyed. Maybe you end up in nova 1 or silver elite if you do your best in these games. Alot better to start then for example silver 2.. working your way out of silver can be hard with all these people "trolling".

If you play with higher players, you will improve alot faster. If you keep playing with silver 1-2-3 you are not going to improve that fast imo. Rank is not so important at the beginning, good practice and getting better is!

actually i've only played once in a party and the highest rank was silver elite i believe, but since those 2 games i played like 4 or 5 games in solo que and the ranks didn't drop

Thats true but if I were you I would not care about that rank yet. Only thing that sucks is the 2 win restriction you get until you got a rank. How many matches did you won and lose now, and how is your score in it?

well i've played like 7 or 8 matches but i've only won 2 of them, which was with my silver elite friend. all the other matches were solo que and i've lost all of them, and my score was almost always negative

A negative score is not to bad that happens to 50% of the players in the game, how many kills a match average?

& Can't do anything about it, you will get placed against lower ranks eventually. Maybe play some deathmatch for a couple hours a day and jump into competetive after a couple days, might have higher chances doing some damage to them + getting placed into silver elite / nova. I think its worth the practice if you can skip these doomed silver ranks.
