I find this to come in peaks on troughs. I will not see cheaters for many months, then get a few in a week, it was particularly bad after the rank reset.

In general though, I get very few cheaters. Though there are still players I've reported for cheating and track their progress and they seemingly never receive a ban even though they were very obvious in this game and post gameplay demo.

Private new accounts can hardly be trusted when we see so many if them being used for cheating or other throw away toxic behaviours. How can a new/low level account with nothing to lose be trusted?

Yes, because all honest players are playing community competitive, like FACE IT, ESEA, GC... People got angry for Valve not dealing with cheaters, so people are playing casuals that they can vote kick out the cheater, or playing community competitive matches instead of Valve's Match Making.

My suggestion for you is to simply stop playing VMM and go play FACE IT, ESEA, GC, they are way batter in every way. People there have more skill, the anti-cheat is better than VAC and Overwatch, people are friendly with new comers, you should give it a try.

i dont think theres anything about my trust factor, been playing the game since 1.6, CZ, Source, have thousand of hours in the game and am only playing with people in global elite in matchmaking. There is no point turning around. People are just massively cheating. I get matched with level 48 account as well as level 1.
Its never blatant crazy aimbot cheats. Everyone use some smooth aim assist. You can also go on private server like those warmup aim_redline servers with pro coming now and then. Most people cheat there.

thx ill take a look, i've never tried faceit before. usually just play MM (which i definitely wont anymore) or FFA community server but theres not many of them. I also like to just go back to Source, many nice FFA community server in my country.

Every single game (besides Battlefield 2042) have cheaters, what makes them better is how fast they get rid of the cheaters. You can't avoid cheaters in any game, literally, but what you do to deal with the cheaters is what makes them more effective against cheaters than others.

Even if you find cheaters there, they are less than 5% what you'll find in Valve's Match Making... In any point of view, community competitive is better than VMM for now.

Yes but we speak about an epidemic, even worst its like a common thing. Not cheating is like not playing the game like its supposed to be played, we are at this point.

Its like playing fifa in full manual against people with all assisted settings.

That may be true about you, but it is not true of this account.

This account doens't have that many games played and is ranked quite low (as of August 2022)
