Remove Red Dot From AUG/SG-553

Counter-Strike has never had red dots and never should it. This isn't Call of Doody. Return it to the way it used to be. AUG/SG-553 gives you a zoomed in cross-hair. Anything else is blasphemy.

I was playing competitive FPS games before the first CS even came out. Nice try though.

I'm not sure why you think mentioning your matchmaking rank adds any credibility to your post. Go win some clan leagues... then maybe we can talk on the same level.

4/4's are useless anyway, so you can even have a chicken attached to it and I wouldn't mind.

When dropped, the gun would run around on it's own, based on the chicken's volition.

If you only use AK47/M4A4/M4A1-S/AWP then why do you even care about a red dot?

What kind of question is this? I care about the obvious ez mode advantage any scrub with an SG553/AUG has from range over someone with an AK47.

For example. If I'm all the way down long with an AK47 and theres a nubbo on A plat with an AUG/SG553. Theres a 90% chance he's going to kill me regardless of skill level because of the simple fact that he has a dot and can zoom.

People keep talking about skill level and that someone who is good with an AK47 can easily come out on top against someone with an SG553/AUG. Honestly 1 tapping with AK's consistently to the point where this is true isn't really the case until semi-pro/the pros. There are many things to take into consideration.

-Range of the battle
-64 tick server (a lot fewer chance of your shots to accurately reg)
-Does he have the height advantage?
-Is he behind cover and you're not?
-Probably more I can't think of befause I just woke up.

Many of these things and more that easily make the chances of an AK47 winning against an SG553/AUG virtually 0. An ez mode red dot and zoom feature make it infinitely easier to get kills from range. I've even single tapped awpers from across the map with the SG553 and was upset with myself at how ez it was.

Not as easy. Much easier to align a dot to a head instead of a crosshair that leaves room for error.
