I received a gift after overwatch ban

Hi,

Yesterday I received a gift for my birthday from my friend an (Butterfly | Crimson Web | Field Tested) in my inventory.

The account has been banned on overwatch a while ago, the gift has been sent after overwatch ban, I did not had it before I was banned.

It's kinda unfair for me since I forgot that it was overwatch banned, I didn't check ingame since I was using a few other accounts, he gave me it straight away to my inventory as a gift.

Is it possible to get my gift back to my other account?

That is not possible, you can't gift items straight away (only games) And after get banned he can't do any trade so...Maybe he come up with this pathetic story (lie) to order to save his knife...
