Rank: I Do not deserve to be in Silver 1...

Hi,

I've been playing CS GO a lot now lately and I seem to be stuck at Silver 1. I usually carry every game, but for the first couple CS GO Competitive games, i absolutely did NOT know what I was doing. After quitting for some reason and coming back to it 5 months later, I seem to be pretty good at CS GO, but my rank does not go up at all, I have probably won 7 - 8 Matches in a row (maybe w/ one loss in the middle)... It just does NOT seem to change. I want to ask help/support to get a rank reset or something, because I have carried a few games I played with my buddies, and they were Nova 2. Shouldn't that boost my rank? I need a better rank right now, or I'll get called a "noob" or something dumb and immature.

play with friends that are higher ranked and you will be put with better people which will increase your chance of ranking up if you do well of coarse. that means being mvp, planting bomb, defusing bomb, and things like that

You will rank up when the system decides you have qualified to rank up. Keep playing as you are and you will end up where you belong.

I got deranked for a few rounds, then back up to master, then gold nova, now I'm gold nova 2.

I'm gold nova 2 and still get silver elite master's in my game.

Higher ranks in game = higher chance of you getting completely wrecked.

There is a reason he has not ranked up. This thread is pointless.

You want to rank up? Win more matches. Die less. /thread.

Regardless of how good you think you are, you probably belong in Silver 1 OR Silver 2. I jumped STRAIGHT into Matchmaking as soon as I bought the game, havn't played Source in years and even then I never played it much and only played on surf maps.

Unless you're 30-40 fragging every game, you're where you should be.

I know that's not what you want to hear but it's reality. I got placed in Silver 2. I started in July and I'm currently Gold Nova 3. There is a small difference between Silver 2 and Silver 3/4 but Silver Elite and Silver Elite Master especially is where there's a big difference.

I used to only play on surf/JB maps in CS:S. Never even touched comp when I got CS:GO. Only play surf and JB, again.

I bought operation payback and played maybe 10 minutes on it. I didn't understand how match making worked at all. I think that's back when you had to play the operation a certain amount of hours to get the coin upgraded.

I used to get 100 points in a game, carrying my team all the time, 40-ish kills... yet I was still silver elite master.

This is hilarious how this guy is bragging about winning 8 rounds...

He would not last 2 matches with higher ranks...I know I barely can. I'll probably get de-ranked soon, but that's fine, because that's how matchmaking works.
