After quickreading your "guide" i wasnt able to find any usefull info about gun handling. And while u say its god mid-long range, i must say i can only use it in cqc for its inaccuracy while moving/taping.
I should definitely add a section about gun handling, thanks for mentioning.
I feel the gun is much stronger in CQC aswell, but since I've gotten used to the handling of the gun, aiming at long distances is a piece of cake too.
It's my first time making a guide, I probably left out a lot of other important sections, and I'd really appreciate if people would point them out for me. Again, thanks for your feedback Dwane.
yep, and wait too long between shots
Guide is OK, I haven't read any others to compare it to, seem some tut vids tho
maybe point out Pros and Cons, time between shots for best accuracy, etc ...
to me pistols are for moving around fast and close contact. Deagle seems too slow to get off accurate shots when enemy is in my face
maybe watch some tut vids explaining a certain weapon and check some other guides. I don't know if there is a general format or not.
Also, it's the only pistol that gets a big boost to accuracy when crouching. If you can afford being an easier target, crouch before firing the Deagle.
I'm currently working on making a few small videos to add, but I'm too busy owning noobs

I think this is where most people go wrong. I think the reason people are saying the deagle is bad is beacuse they use it like any of the other pistols, fast and spammy.
I use corners to counter the slow fire rate. I stand still when I predict an enemy, and keep my aim ready at head height so it's all about reaction time.
When an enemy is in your face, you'll either get a headshot or an easy 1 or 2 shot body kill.
I need to try and explain better how I handle the gun during a game, I feel like there are some huge misconceptions out there about the deagle, and all I'm trying to do is to tell people about this amazing gun.
I can do same thing with CZ / 5.7 / Tec + i can gun and run with them or even spray. Sometimes i try deagle and drop it next round. Few weeks back i was sitting and slowly shoting at walking enemy (distance ~7m, first 3 shots to his back) - even with crosshair right on his chest i hit once to leg for whole clip and chat was full of LOL/WTF. Atm there are other pistols better and cheaper.
But does any of those guns have 1 shot headshot and perfect accuracy while doing that? If you can, I'd be impressed ;)
I swear this happens too every once in a while. You'll have a really bad streak where every single ♥♥♥♥ misses, and you just want to quit. But there's also moments where the tables are turned, and every shot is a headshot. :) And those moments are what makes me stick to it, I want them to be consistent.
That's mostly true. The other guns are easier to use, and way cheaper. I think the deagles worth is determined on individual skill, and in the hands of the right player, it'll be strong like a rifle but at the cost of a pistol.
Reaching that point of skill would be an incredible feat, but I believe it's possible.
CZ, 5.7, Tec and even p250 is cappable to 1shot thru helm. 5.7 is realy accurate even while running. p250 and 5.7 is enought accurate for shooting dd2 long from pit to bomb site. Tec is pretty accurate to mid range.
That's right, but CZ deals 103 damage to the head against an armored enemy, and the rest except deagle and barettas deal around 110-120. You have to be relatively close or the damage fall-off would put you at 99-98 easily, which would require 2 shots to kill. Getting the kill with the first bullet is a big deal :)
I'm not trying to say how you play is wrong or ineffective, I'm just trying to explain why the deagle is really far from as bad as people make it out to be.
Deagle isnt bad, hes just worse (in 90% situations) then most other pistols. Meaning 9 out of 10 situations can be solved easier by (most) other pistols.
