I don't think giving the guns a slight buff (I mean maybe 5 to 10% buff) for back shots would ruin the game. I'm curious as to what exactly would be ruined. Can you give an example?
The whole reason a knife to the back is a single hit kill (in my opinion) is because that is how works in real life. I would think a single shot from an AK, SSG 08 or M4A4 should realistically be a single shot to the back for a kill in the game. I also understand that a 5% or 10% increase in damage for any of the weapons I listed wouldn't actually be a single shot kill as they still only do about 70 damage in the chest so a 10% buff would only make it about 77 damage (I know that's bad math).
I'm sorry I assumed you were trolling, but commenting on a person's ability to use a weapon in a game without actually playing with said person is basically trolling in my opinion. I admit I suck at the game, but I was looking for opinions on shooting someone in the back and the damage it does. Your post contributed nothing to this thread and made an attack at how I play the game.
The guy calling troll, I guess, is assuming you actually know the game. SSG 08 can't spray because it is a bolt action rifle. You are confusing it with the SG 553- the scoped automatic rifle. Silver confirmed.
Also, I think buffing shots in the back is a bad idea because it doesn't have any merit in gameplay. Knife kills are only a instant kill because the knifed player failed to hear the sound of the knife being unsheathed and allowed the enemy to get close enough to knife them. It also uses the slower and more damaging knife strike, implying that the killer is going for a killing blow such as a slice of the neck or a stab in the spine.
have someone punch you in the chest then in the shoulder blade or spine, tell me what hurts more :)
