Unable to fire in CS GO

I am unable to fire bots in CS GO. I am able to move properly across the map but when I try to fire it get stuck almost all the times in the game. I bought to play this with love but now I am very much worried about this. I searched for many discussions on this but no where could I find the solution for this.

If anyone has faced and resolved the issue, please help me on this. Thank you all

i have tried with 2 other mouses and still facing the same problem.. i have reinstalled the game too still of no use.. i see in settings of my mouse and everything is assigned properly. mouse is working perfectly on the menu but not in the game

i still dont know what you mean by "not beeing able to fire bots"...

I am able to aim the bots and when I click the mouse button to fire the bots, sometimes I am able to fire and sometimes not. But with the mouse I am able to rotate around freely.. only when I fire I am facing this kind of issue. Is there any compatibility issue or I dnt know :(

I can joke better if the games works for me.. I need the resolution for this! Not only me, there are many discussions as such and I find no where a solution for this.

im sorry, i still dont get your problem...

if you control a bot( spectate him, press "E") you can walk around and look around, but when you try to shoot something weird happens???

do you also have the problem when not controlling a bot???

All the problem is with the mouse click.. Not able to fire a gun when I click the mouse.. only some times it is getting fired.. in between it is getting jammed.. Are you now clear with the problem?

do you have the problem only whe controlling a bot or alwyas?

i would verify the game cache on reset all setting and keybindings

and enable raw mouse input if it isnt

Bots don't like when they are taken over by noobs so they refuse to fire their weapon for them sometimes. It is a common problem. Let more experienced players use the bots.

what do you mean by controlling the bots? I am not able to fire my gun and it is getting jammed, nothing to do with the bots.. my mouse is working properly for other games but not for cs go.. sometimes it fires when i click and sometimes it is not firing when I click the mouse.

Try rebinding your mouse button to +attack by typing the following into console.

bind "MOUSE1" "+attack"

If that doesn't work you can try making a custom alias that provides a similiar function.

Copy and paste the following lines into your autoexec.cfg

alias +shoot "+attack"
alias -shoot "-attack"

Then enter the bind into console.

bind "MOUSE1" "+shoot"

Where can i find the {LINK REMOVED}autoexec.cfg? I cant locate it in the steam counter strike application folder.

It should be located in Steamapps > common > Counterstrike Global Offensive > csgo > cfg.

You may have to create the autoexec.cfg manually.

You can just copy one of the cfg files already present in that folder, delete all the text inside, and rename it autoexec.
