800x600 Blurry for me.. How can I fix it?

When I use 800x600 it looks blurry but when ScreaM uses it, it's crystal clear. How do I make mine like his? I know we both use 800x600 black bars.

Scream uses some form(s) of anti-aliasing I believe. Realistically 8 by 6 will be "blurry" or pixelated in general because it is simply a low res. invite players like scream who have been playing for 10 plus years have been using hte same res since 1999 and refuse to switch ;) Oh for the record I use it AND I turn off FXAA cuz I hate that crap. Try that I dare you :)

That doesn't answer my question :/ I'm asking how I can fix it so it can be clear like theirs.

The user above does answer your question. He is saying there is no way for you to fix it that he knows.

He states that pros like ScreaM actually have the same res and can have the same "blur" effect you do.

that's because he's not playing 800x600 in the video ->1024x786

I believe it's because he's got a huge monitor.. so that helps render the image a little bigger thus not being so blurry..

So what s the reason you want to play like that ? is it because the "pro" play's that way so you can think it make's you better in this game ? just adjust everything to you lvl of needs not someone else

Very old thread but since people continue to play old, outdated and pixelated resolutions keep in mind that streamers use capture cards.
