Well, Valve did something.
They introduced Prime-Accounts where you can add you mobile number to your account.
When it starts, Prime-Account users will only get matched to Prime-Account users.
Smurfs will not be a problem any longer from then on.
The ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "learning excuse" again. Dude, nobody is supposed to learn ♥♥♥♥ while playing, we learn and evolve in the game only if WE WANT TO. Every Silver 1 has the right to stay a Silver 1 and don't be molested by ♥♥♥♥♥♥ smurfs (the CS:GO version of bullies). The integrity, honesty and fairness of the system are much more relevant, valuable than smurfs and their ♥♥♥♥♥♥ excuses.
what is smurfs ?? are they cheaters???
This post has at times been inactive for weeks and months, that's what I'm talking about. And when it seems like it's finally dead, someone comes over and posts again. lol. Not sure what else you wanna talk about here really. All of the points you could think of have already been said. And there's unfortunately nothing we players can do. I don't play much cs:go that much anymore, but I've heard of Prime matchmaking, that should solve it a bit shouldn't it?
Totally agree.
The only thing IU really have to add is with regards to the "Got a COoldown - there's nothing wrong with playing on another account when one is on a cooldown, since this should result in aeither the account being grouped with the same or at least very close skill group - or, if too long betyween uses of the account, will not disaplay a skill group. (But the sstatistics so far acquired will still be used to place in approximate matchmaking, just not as accurately)
So this will not impact in any way as those who purposefully maintain a LOWER skill group than they are usually and consistently fully capable of.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For some reason, the SMurfs that play intentionally at lower skill groups neglect to consider that the matchymaking system (i.e. the skill groups) are there for a reason in macthing players at those groups. They are exploiting and abusing that system for their own personal benefit. Whatever they may try to excuse this with, does not justify it.
I have yet to hear of one excuse for these 'smurfs' that is truly justified.
done.
