Game moving by itself
I use a Razer BlackWidow tournament edition and don't have problems on other games, but on CS:GO I will be running and then let go of the key to stop but my guy keeps running in the direction I was going. It happens randomly. It's annoying because I will try to stop to shoot so my bullets will miss or I will run into the enemy and die. Does anybody know what I can do to fix it?

Reinstall the razer driver if possible. It's most likely its just csgo...

If you have mouse acceleration on I think that might affect your movement. Or is it mouse forward? I can't remember.

Also if you play with your netgraph on: when that situation occurs, try to look at the netgraph to see if you got a loss/choke spike. That happens to me so I don't worry about it too much because I know it's not a hardware issue.

I have a simular problem.

Whenever I leave a game while left clicking with a knife, the next game will move by itself.

I tested it offline with bots and it still does it. If I press forward enough times it will eventually run forward. If i keep strafing it will eventually keep moving my itself to the side. I updated the razer driver but I haven't tried uninstalling it. I'll do that and test it.

Is it just the movement? or is it the whole shooting and everything? If so, try binding the keys to something else.

its just the movement and it does it randomly. I can move fine most of the time then out of nowhere ill take my fingers off the keys and it keeps running in whatever direction i was going before I stopped. Everything else works fine.

I have the EXACT same problem, it's so frustrating. Gets me killed all the time. Did you end up finding a fix? I'm just using my laptop keyboard so it should be something to do with the game maybe.

Ugh I just noticed the same problem in the last week or so... Please can someone address this? Its ruining my gameplay completely! Just over-peak all the time. It's as if I'm occasionally playing on ice and just be gliding :(((((

I found out it is my dumb BlackWidow keyboard because it does it in other games to

It's something to do with the hardware. I refreshed my computer (It deletes your steam games so you have to re-download them, and you have to re-do a bunch of things, I wouldn't recomend it unless you have other problems with your computer like I did) and I haven't had this problem since. So its fixable is my point. No definite answer though.

I hypothesised my problem:
I thought surely it can't be my laptop keyboard...
Turns out the heat from my (very hot) laptop messed with the keys above the fan-area. Basically the WASD but mainly the W. Used external keyboard, problem went away.

Sorry for pointing fingers at software!

All of the above answers are so complex. Just double tap W and it will go back to normal!
